OS development

does anyone know any good sites for info on OS development.

right now i'm still trying to learn about protected mode and the IDT and GDT and all the damn PL(CPL, RPL, etc)

i know about skylab.org/~sabre/os and that is the only place i know where i can get info online.

any help would be appreciated, thanks
